A.T. Museum Work Trip, July 28, 2012. About 10-12 able-bodied volunteers are needed to help move stones from an old A.T. shelter in Pennsylvania that used to be on the A.T. The shelter, made of stone, may or may not have been built by Earl Shaffer. Either way the structure is deserving of preservation and it will be later reassembled near the A.T. Museum at Pine Grove Furnace State Park in Gardners, Pa. Contact Larry Knutson, project coordinator, at larry@penntrails.com for more information including directions.

Post-Gathering Work Trip, on Monday, Oct. 15, 2012. Contact Kent Wilson, Assistant Coordinator, at worktrip@aldha.org
