If you've been kicking around a few ideas for work projects that would be good for ALDHA to undertake, let us know. Perhaps you're the perfect one to help organize it, too. As anyone who has ever taken part can tell you, work projects are a whole lot of fun. In the past, ALDHA has helped to build a new lean-to on the trail, on the north side of Mount Moosilauke in New Hampshire. We've helped build new trail in relocated sections, installed privies and even painted rooms at a well-known hiker hostel. In fact, it was during a work trip at Graymoor Monastery in February '96 that the idea arose for ALDHA to adopt a hostel every year and do whatever is needed to bring the hostel into tip-top shape.
