Earl Shaffer Memorial Photo Contest

We hope to have some prizes lined up for the Photo Contest. Hope all of you are getting your photos ready and that you plan to enter one to three of your finest!

You may submit up to 5 unframed photos, 8x10 or smaller.

The categories this year:

1) Beauty and Grandeur of the A.T.
2) Beauty and Grandeur of any other trail
3) Wildlife -- Flora or Fauna
4) Trail Community, including Trail Maintenance
5) Humor on the Trail

Spread the word to others as well! We're hoping to really have a great deal of participation this year. Help set that tone by digging through your photo files and reminding others that they should enter. (I know you're all busy, but add this to your “to do” list -- I'm betting you'll be glad you did!)

Hint: We hardly ever get any photos for the Trail Maintenance category.

NOTE: Winning photos will be posted online and in the Long Distance Hiker. All photos will become property of ALDHA, and the ATC may contact entrants for permission to use a photo in one of their upcoming publications.
