Hikers there are planning to add a new section of trail to the IAT/SIA. This new section will be approximately 300 miles long and will end at the ferry terminal at North Sidney where hikers can board the ferry to continue their hike on the IAT/SIA on the Island of Newfoundland. Pictures of the landscape, hiking opportunities and the activities associated with the IAT/SIA International Meeting will be included in the presentation. In the summer of 2006, I took a university class on an experiential exploration, hiking from Glasgow to Inverness and on the Isle of Skye. We hiked the West Highland Way, the Great Glenn Way and went on a few day hikes on the Isle of Skye. The trails pass through towns and villages where we encountered the culture of the highlands. I will present slides and talk about ways of hiking Scotland.
