“Annie and the Salesman’s”
1994 Thru-Hike of the A.T.

Ann & Larry

ALDHA members Ann and Larry McDuff related their 1994 thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail in a series of columns written for their hometown newspaper in Baldwin County, Alabama. Sadly, they are no longer with us. Ann was hit and killed by a car while riding her bike in 2003; Larry was hit and killed while riding his bike in 2005. Both accidents occurred within miles of their home.
