Larry Luxenberg, a member of the Appalachian Long Distance Hikers Association, interviewed hundreds of folks a few years ago and wove their stories into a new book, Walking the Appalachian Trail. It’s been described as a modern-day version of the famed 2-volume Rodale Press collection of A.T. stories, only a heck of a lot easier to carry!
