Hitting the ground running, preparations for ALDHA’s 25th Anniversary party is in full swing (even the design for the anniversary logo, as created by JoJo and Nomad, is complete). Anticipate a huge celebratory affair that only hikers clad in mucky, sole-flapping boots and perspiration-stained non-cotton shirts can enjoy. This Gathering is for oldtime attendees and newbies as well –– we will all have something to do and experience.

Are you anxious to know what you can expect for this Anniversary Gathering? Well, how about a raging river paddle on Thursday, cake and a blast to the past on Friday, BBQ and Bluegrass on Saturday, and shows galore in between?! Sound exciting?

We have lots of slots open for shows and presentations. THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION IS AUG. 1 but don’t wait until then to let us know you want to present. Call, e-mail, whatever it takes, let us know you want to strut your stuff for a presentation or to volunteer for the behind-the-scenes preparations and functions.
