More than 500 hikers descended on Dartmouth College in October for Hanover 97, the 16th Annual Gathering of ALDHA to share stories from a wide array of hiking trails, to renew old acquaintances and to just have fun.
The Pacific Crest Trail Association was among the groups represented at the Gathering, with a display set up during the hiker fair and throughout the rest of the weekend in the main hall. Dave Fleischman, left, talks about his through-hike on the PCT in 1993.
